There are some Stardoll facts you may not be aware of:
1) It was published on the internet in April 3rd 2002
2) Stardoll was created in SWEEDEN, not in U.S.A. (Inspired by a childhood passion for paper dolls, Scandinavian born Liisa Wrang started drawing dolls and accompanying wardrobes, uploading them to Geocities. The personal page grew, evolving to Paperdoll Heaven in 2004.)
3) It began as "Paperdoll Heaven" (instead of Stardoll) and when it was released, it only had dolls (celebrities) to dress-up!
4) Paperdoll Heaven still exists! It's full of dress-up, make-up and make-over games! Visit it by clicking right HERE! :)
5) Before "DOT", the main (and only) make-up shop was Shephora!
6) Stardoll used to have it's own celebrity-shops (Celeb-Boutiques) with t-shirts, hats e.t.c. I mean, you could buy a blouse with your favorite celebrity on it, hats with their names, magazines, posters and so much more! Those "lucky" celebrities that had their own fan-shops on Starplaza were Avril Lavigne, Darin, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Paulina Porizkova, Miley & Becky, Heidi Clum, Aly & AJ, Hillary Duff and Sabrina Brayn!
7) Abbey Down by Avril Lavigne, Mudd (by I don't know who) and Candy by Britney Spears were in Starplaza! These shops had the actual clothes of these clothe-lines! They were all together at one shop named "Kohl's"!!!
8) Stardesign Hair was created only because of some dolls that used to create hair out of Stardesign Jewellery!
9) Stardesign Jewellery and Stardesign Hair never existed before 2012! Not even as an idea!
10) National Covergirl came out at 2010-2011!
11) Yet, nobody knows who the first covergirl was for sure!
12) Stardoll had a HUGE change at Summer 2010!
13) Stardoll used to have ONLY stardollars, while you could earn them by "Play&Earn"... You could spend the 4 of them in only one day, but the other 1 stardollar would stay in your account for as long as you wanted (to spent it)...
14) Most of the clothes in Stardoll were only for superstars. Also, make-up was ONLY for superstars!
15) Miss Stardoll World began in 2010
16) Stardoll Photos and Parties began to exist in 2009
17) The oldest member we ever found (and she's still an active member) is Skye87... She joined in 1/1/2002, obviously when Stardoll was Paperdoll Heaven!
18) Stardoll Stuff are supposedely made so they can help you in your language, but still, the only helpful stuff they say is in their presentation. They won't reply to you if you ask them something!
19) The first Suite module was Penthouse.
20) Old shops like ELLE and Phioshophy actually had cheap products. For example, ELLE pumps used to cost ONLY 6 stardollars!
